On 24 Oct. 2023, Ms. Irina Bokova, the former Director General of UNESCO, and Co-chair of the International Science Council (ISC)’s Global Commission on Science Missions for Sustainability, visited the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (CBAS), a center was established to support the achievement of the SDGs.
To present the achievements of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) over the past decade and enhance international understanding of its value, China's State Council Information Office released a white paper titled "The Belt and Road Initiative: A Key Pillar of the Global Community of Shared Future" on 10th Oct, 2023. Its objective is to facilitate high-quality cooperation within it, ultimately benefiting more countries and peoples.
The Beijing Declaration on Digital Belt and Road, issued by the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (CBAS) together with scholars from 25 countries and regions, has been included in the List of Multilateral Cooperation Deliverables of the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation as one of the 14 “Deliverables of Non-government Cooperation Platforms”.
