As the academic advisory body of CBAS, the Academic Construction Committee is responsible for providing advice and suggestions on the strategic planning, major scientific research deployment, and discipline development of CBAS; commenting on different research fields, scientific and technological layouts, etc.; putting forward comments on the establishment of major scientific research projects, mid-term review, final acceptance, achievement appraisals and awards; putting forward comments on the scientific and technological work, as well as the academic level of scientific and technological personnel; demonstrating and making recommendations on important matters involving academic issues; putting forward opinions and suggestions on the development of study style, and making suggestions for dealing with incidents and academic misconduct that violate scientific research ethics; promoting academic exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad.
